Born and raised in a Basel suburb, he now resides in Lucerne with his little family. He has a soft spot for the golden age Hollywood films from the 80s and 90s, believes football is the most beautiful sport, and considers the late 70s to be the era of the most significant music.

As a filmmaker, he works locally and internationally and has a keen interest in photography. He discovered his passion for creativity through graffiti in the early 2000s, which led him to work as an assistant at a film production company in Basel. After 4 years in Zürich in one of the leading advertising agencies at that time, he became self-employed to better balance his free, cultural, and commercial work and to further develop his style.

His passion for images, colors, people, and their stories is unbroken, and every new project excites him all over again. He says, "Filmmaking was the first place where I brought together everything interesting about life. I love that it is something you can endlessly grow into."
